Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! If you have not made your plans to attend our 3rd annual Christmas on the Farm event, do NOT delay!!! It is December 9 at the farm. We offer pictures with Santa, cookies with Mrs. Clause, crafts with the Elves, a Sleigh-Hayride, a living Nativity scene, and some local vendors including our friends from WLRH!
What an amazing year 2023 has been for the clients, families, staff and volunteers of Next Step. YOU have made this vision a reality with your continued support!! Every dollar, donated item, hour of volunteer service, word of encouragement has been the difference. BUT we are not finished, there is more to do!!
The vision and need are not met by simply constructing a building. We have skills to teach, resources to continue building, and much more!! At the end of this fiscal year, you may be looking for ways to support a local nonprofit. We will be the first to tell you that monetary donations are always beneficial and useful, but if you are more of an item giver…we hear you. Below is a list of some goals that we hope to achieve in the 2024 calendar year. All made possible by the helping hands of our local and national community:
Become a Sustainability Partner: Commit to a monthly donation for a minimum of one year, and you will receive a free jar of jam or jelly, or pickles based on the monthly membership that you select.
Make a one-time donation in honor of or memory of someone or designate an amount specific project:
- ($2000 needed to fully fund a storm shelter)
- ($5000 toward container barn internal structure)
- ($5000 toward roofing on container barn)
- ($8400 toward Battery Backup system (6-8 hrs run time of lighting and ventilation for storm shelter)
