Things are growing on the farm! Our 30 raised beds are flourishing with vegetables! We are excited about harvesting our crops within the next few weeks and months! In the orchard area, we added fig trees, peach trees, and raspberries! We do not expect fruit from these beauties this year, but we have beat the deer to the blueberries and strawberries! Very exciting for our individuals to pick the first fruits of effort!! Keep a close eye on your email and social media as we will let you know when we have fresh vegetables and fruits available. Help us show off our hard work and get your produce from us!!
Summertime will be a busy time on the farm. We are actively on site Tuesday through Friday from 8:15- 3:30 and every 2nd Saturday of the month as a norm.
In addition to shopping at our onsite Farmer’s Market, you can support our Community Awareness Activities during the month of June!! You will not want to miss our Scavenger Hunt on June 15 from 9-1!!! Select your team mates, pick your favorite mode of transportation, and reserve your game card and lunch ticket! Reserve your Early Bird Ticket TODAY!
Then the following weekend on June 22 from 10-2, join Tastees, the Madison County Sheriff Department, Monrovia Volunteer Fire and various other organizations for the 2nd Annual Hotdog Eating Contest! In addition to the contest, we will have inflatables, food vendors, games, and first responder equipment! It will be held at the Monrovia Community Center this year – RAIN OR SHINE!!
Looking ahead – We don’t want to forget about our Fall Festival scheduled for September 28, with more information coming soon!
Our BIG event and announcement is our Inaugural Farm Livin’ on Park Avenue Event on November 2, 2024. The event includes live music from Microwave Dave, a silent Auction, dinner catered by Bubba’s and Surprise Beverage Selections!! Tickets are LIVE!! CLICK HERE to secure your spot.
