Every year, Miracle Bash and Swim for Melissa raise essential funds to meet the needs of babies in the Regional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children. The 2022 events will provide:
- a new ventilator,
- a high-tech neonatal ventilator to help our most critically ill babies,
- a high-flow nasal cannula that supplies humidified and heated oxygen,
- specialized recliners so parents are comfortable by the bedside,
- Beads of Courage and bereavement necklaces, and
- other critical respiratory equipment.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the cause in 2021. Because of you, we raised a record net proceeds to provide new Giraffe Omnibeds, an infant-driven feeding system and a simulation training doll for the NICU through the Melissa George Neonatal Memorial Fund.
